| TreMoto's patent pending Leaning Vehicle Suspension system allows for rider controlled balance and lean angle just like a motorcycle - but eliminates the possibility for low-side accidents. By doubling front end traction, performance breakthroughs in braking and cornering are inevitable. The system delivers a riding experience like no other. The back end slides like a flattracker, and is highly resistant to highsides. Low-sides are basically impossible, even if you wash out both front wheels you hit the lean stops rather than the ground. You can lock up both front brakes without falling or loss of control. Having two front wheels is like the auto-balance feature from a Tony Hawk video game. It's sort of like a Piaggio MP3, but replace the 'scooter' with 'Ducati'. All this is made possible through a unique composite monoleaf spring and robust Kayaba rotary dampers, pivoting about a 4130 chromoly steel front subframe. Parollelogram double a-arm suspension links, T-pin style uprights and clever steering geometry round out this lightweight package. By maintaining a low overall suspension height, front frame bulk is minimized. Even with an additional wheel, Tremoto prototypes weigh in only 40lbs heavier than their two wheeled counterparts. |
